In order to better serve patients, NovaVision has partnered with many top medical centers across the country to provide a more comprehensive approach to Vision Restoration Therapy (VRT). The Advanced Care Center was designed with two types of patients in mind:
1. Potential patients who require additional medical assistance either due to medical complications, the severity of their visual field deficit, etc.
2. Potential patients who would prefer to go to a medical center with deeper expertise on VRT and would like more follow up and assistance throughout the therapy process from a medical provider.
Advanced Care Centers help their patients get started with the therapy at their medical centers and provide quality ongoing medical counsel throughout the course of therapy. Advanced Care Centers will have additional fees for their services, some of which may be covered by insurance. Please contact the Advanced Care Center near you for more details on pricing.
If the potential patient is motivated, can follow the therapy instructions, and use computer mouse, he or she should be able to get started and complete the therapy without this special assistance. Patients should seriously consider their physical, mental and emotional needs when choosing to start the therapy at home, or to go to an Advanced Care Center.
